This forest lies in a valley and stretches across approximately 30 hectares of land. It is by far the most incredible forest of them all. Betties Bos has a lot to offer, such as pools to swim in, monkey ropes to swing from and its wide variety of indigenous trees, of which 40 different trees have been marked by hand. The vegetation forms a canopy creating a cool area to walk under during the hot summer season. A fountain is situated higher up in the valley, allowing water to flow down the stream all year round, the founder of the Kromrivier River. It is a comfortable walk and great for a family outing. There is a path that will lead you upstream and downstream which makes it impossible to get lost, alternatively you can also drive all the way to this forest which is about 2km away from the Hunting Lodge.
